A woman gave birth mid-way through a flight from Dubai to the Philippines.
The woman, who has not been named, was seven months pregnant when the Cebu Pacific Air flight took off.
Soon afterwards she went into labour and flight attendants, with the help of two off-duty nurses, took the woman to the front of the plane where there was more leg room.
Around an hour later, and to cheers from the passengers on the flight, the Filipina woman gave birthday to a healthy baby girl, who she named Haven.
A male air steward suggested that Haven should get free flights for life on Cebu Pacific Air. It is a tradition among some airlines to give free flights to babies born in the air.
‘It was the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen on a flight,’ said Missy Berberabe Umandal, 20, who took the pictures of the mother and her baby.
