MOTORISTS and pedestrians were left shocked when a dead body fell out of a moving hearse on a city center street.
In alarming footage, the funeral car can be seen traveling through a busy intersection when the corpse falls out of the back of the vehicle.
But amazingly the driver doesn’t even notice he has lost the important cargo and carries on going – leaving the corpse, which is covered by a orange blanket, lying in the middle of the road.
Stunned passers-by in business district of Havana, Cuba, filmed the moment the man and the woman in the hearse realize they’ve lost the body and attempt to load it onto a stretcher.
But in something from a Charlie Chaplin silent comedy, they are not strong enough to shift it and a man walking past is forced to step in and help them load it back in the car.
Since the video was posted online it has attracted lots of comments by people saying it is an example of poor services because of the country’s communist rulers.
Netizen Kenny Beltran said: “Look at the level of basic services in Cuba, the product of a poor system, unproductive and with no efficiency with a totalitarian, deaf and blind government.”
Another user commented: “This only happens in third world countries”.
Vedado, where the incident happened, is Havana’s central business district and is one of the city’s most desirable addresses.
